The literature databases and online resources are accessible via one unified login. You can reach the login page by clicking any database link at “Care -> Studium -> Library and Information Services“. Example

On the login page enter your login name and CARE-password. You will be redirected to the database and automatically logged-in as an IUBH-student.

Please note that it is not possible to log in from company networks or other university networks. If you have changed your CARE-password it may take up to 24 hours until the new password will be accepted.

The EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) is a search engine that enables you to browse through many databases simultaneously. You can access EDS directly from CARE. Simply use the search box at “CARE -> Studium -> Library and Information Services”. Your search request will automatically be redirected to EDS.

Each IUBH student has their own private library account. You can access it using the following link: https://opac.iubh.de

From your private account you can borrow books from the library’s print stock as well as extending the lending period for your borrowed media.

To login, enter your login name and CARE-password. You will be redirected to your private library account.
